Q. A, B and C completed a work costing ₹ 1800. A worked for 6 days, B worked for 4 days and C worked for 9 days. If their daily wages are in the ratio of 5 : 6 : 4, how much amount will be received by A?

Ratio of the wages of A, B and C = 5 : 6 : 4 A's share : B's share : C ' share = (6 x 5) : (4 x 6) : (9 x 4) =30 : 24 : 36 = 5 : 4 : 6 ∴ A's share = (5/15) x 1800 = ₹ 600
