Normally President of India addresses the Parliament on two occassions. Every year Budget session of Parliament which is the first session of the year, starts, with the joint sitting that is addressed by President. And the first sitting of newly constituted Lok Sabha after General Election is in the form of joint sitting and is addressed by President.
