Rajendra Prasad was not a member of drafting committee. He was president of constituent assembly. Drafting committee whose chairman was Dr. B.R Ambedkar consisted of 7 members. Other members committee were- K.M.Munshi, Alladi Krishnaswami Iyer. N Gopalaswami Ayengar, B.L. Mitter (later replaced by Madhav Rao), Md.Saadullah, D. P. Khaitan (later replaced by T.T.Krishnamachari).
